Showing up regardless

I have never wanted to live as much as I want to right now, I’m tired but I’m can feel the excitement of wanting to live

Today, during basketball practice ( basically me training people that want to learn). One of my trainee was so tired, and she was like f*ck life, and apparently she had already said it twice, I get her frustration and the context she said it from but regardless, I’d rather not say it, I’d rather not be negative. And when someone else called her out for saying it, all I said was “nah, I can’t say that, I want to live, I want to live so bad”. I was surprised by what I said because I know there a difference between, living, wanting to live, and living for all the life pleasures.

Honestly, I have just been living because I wasn’t even sure if the life pleasures would find me, I’m young but it feels like I have been waiting for so long. Trying times really wear you out. But, regardless, I’m living, I want to live and I’m living for all the pleasures life has to offer. But most importantly I’m living for the will of God, I’m living for my very colourful friend, friends too and of course my very colourful family.

Regardless of how the day feels, you need to believe you are living in an answered prayer, you need to believe that christ has felt ever pain you feel, every trial that seems so hard to overcome, he has been through it too and so he understands. Your waiting time is not God abandoning you.

This is day two. I fasted to 2pm and you can drink water. I have seventeen prayer requests already. With each day you fast you take up one prayer request, two if you like. I also pray the rosary.
